POSITION OVERVIEW

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

Cornerstone seeks a full-time, team-oriented entry level individual to join our Operations team and assist the finance team in management of day-to-day financial and administrative related matters.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with invoicing for all federal client engagements;
• Assisting with bookkeeping for nonprofit and association clients;
• Assisting with day-to-day financial transactions and recordings;
• Assisting with financial reporting;
• Assisting with employees’ expense reporting; and,
• Providing administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer and Finance Managers when requested.

Confidentiality, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate for this entry level position has a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting, and at least one year of relevant work experience. Preference will be given to candidates with a working knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software, Microsoft Office suite, and who have previous accounting and/or bookkeeping experience.
