Job Responsibilities:
· Assist in the recruiting of, recommend for hire, conduct interview, and train, positive individuals, ensuring excellent customer service.
· Motivate, encourage, and challenge all store employees.
· Promote and resolve customer and employee complaints, in a timely and professional manner.
· Implement and enforce established daily operating procedures to ensure store is clean,
adequately stocked, organized, and well kept.
· Ensure all merchandise is stocked and displays are attractive, not expired, and
displayed in a safe and neat manner.
· Supervise and discipline all store employees according to company policy. Communicate and report all disciplinary actions to HR.
· Familiarize yourself with all store policies and regulations.
· Follow and enforce all Company Policies and Established Procedures in the store.
· Conduct Employee evaluations at 90 days as well as the annual evaluation.
· Complete and scan all paperwork to HR (training guide, disciplinary action forms, termination forms, insurance forms, working interview forms) in a timely manner.
· Monitor cash over/short, and drive offs daily. Keep track of date and the amount the cashier was
over/short.
· Place all orders before deadlines.
· Create a weekly schedule for staff members. Send it out in a timely manner.
· Conduct Store meetings as needed with employees. A monthly Team meeting is mandatory.
· Keep track of employee attendance and tracking all tardys and absences.
· Keep up with the Employee Accountability Forms.
· Understand all information in the daily reporting of store operations. (Lottery, Cash Count, Register Reports, etc.)
· Communicate and perform fuel price changes, mark downs / ups as requested by Senior Management in a timely manner.
· Communicate any problems with merchandise pricing and items not scanning to Director of Operations.
· Implement and enforce all merchandising and vendor policies and procedures. (Stocking grocery order same day it arrives, clean up Ben E. Keith order same day, check for expiration dates, move existing products to the front, put new products on the back, move products forward, checking in the vendors.)
· Enforce all Safety and Security Issues and report any and all unsafe conditions to HR.
· Maintain confidential employee records as well as any notes and data related to those files.
· Report and process all employee and/ or customer incidents or accidents.
· Any other tasks assigned by senior management (including DM, Director of Operations, HR, etc.)

Education / Experience
Management experience is highly encouraged. High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) recommended.
