Job Description

Job Description

As a member of the company’s Corporate Finance team, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for a variety of reporting and analytical functions. The analyst will develop reports and financial models for existing markets and assets that analyze business performance, support long-range planning, and model future performance and business valuations. Additionally, the analyst will support other finance and accounting functions and groups as the needs of the business may require.

Duties:

  • Present results of analysis and research on a variety of business operations topics
  • Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecasts
  • Prepare reports and analysis for senior management, board of directors, and general managers showing actual versus forecasted performance
  • Gain understanding of existing asset models, including asset performance, asset returns, valuations, trends, and assumptions
  • Execute daily cash management activities, including cash positioning, forecasting, and liquidity management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Accounting and Accounts Payable, to execute weekly check runs
  • Support other financial, accounting, and operations needs as needed

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to analyze companies from a financial, operational, and industry perspective
  • Understanding of financial modeling and valuation methodologies
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Excels in a team-oriented and collaborative work environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Exhibits a strong work ethic and accountability to deadlines
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Understanding of Hyperion products (Essbase and Strategic Finance) is a plus

Education/Experience:

  • Bachleor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA in major and overall
  • 0 – 3 Years of prior relevant work experience
  • Strong finance and accounting background

Compensation:

Compensation for this role includes a base salary between $70,000 and $85,000 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus and equity, based upon individual and company performance.
