Core One is seeking an experienced OSINT Trainer for a prominent defense and security organization committed to providing innovative solutions to support our military and government clients. As an OSINT Trainer, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to enhancing the capabilities of our military personnel in the field of Open Source Intelligence. Your expertise in OSINT will be instrumental in preparing our forces to effectively collect, analyze, and exploit publicly available information (PAI) to fulfill a range of mission objectives.
Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will:
  • Engage in the collection and exploitation of Publicly Available Information (PAI) through the proficient use of OSINT tools.
  • Exploit social media platforms and public-accessible databases to extract valuable intelligence.
  • Generate Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Reports and other OSINT network analysis products to inform decision-making.
  • Collect, synthesize, and analyze open source intelligence information to support mission objectives.
  • Work closely with other intelligence disciplines to produce finished intelligence products, including threat assessments.
  • Evaluate and provide formal recommendations on emerging OSINT methodologies and tools to enhance intelligence capabilities.
  • Effectively respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Brief senior personnel and officers as required, conveying critical intelligence findings.
  • Contribute to curriculum development for OSINT training requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices.
  • Supervise operational planning, technical papers, and other tasks as directed by the customer.
Identify and resolve issues related to OSINT tools.
Required Education, Experience, & Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Graduated from Government OSINT Training courses, such as OS301/OS302, CASO, or equivalent programs (e.g., DIA OS1, FBI OS101).
  • A minimum of 8 years of demonstrated intelligence experience with a Master's degree (MA/MS) or 10 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree (BA/BS).
  • Proficiency in utilizing Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) OSINT tools, including but not limited to the Berber Hunter Tool Kit applications (e.g., SILO, SCRAAWL, Data Miner, and Babel).
  • Demonstrated experience in a field related to OSINT research, collection management, analysis, or the exploitation of PAI and social media.
  • Prior military or government analytical training in areas such as all source, SIGINT, HUMINT, or GEOINT.
  • Knowledge of signature reduction techniques and practical experience in collecting and exploiting information from the deep web and dark web.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
  • Experience conducting intelligence analytical support for the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Foreign language capabilities of 2 /2 on the Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) or better.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages and technologies, including Python, Java, R Script, and JEMA.
  • Experience with researching tradecraft relevancy.
  • Familiarity with distributed learning methodologies and technologies.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and SharePoint.
