Job Description
Clayton Services is searching for a CNC Operator to join a thriving company in Northwest Houston. The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components.
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $28.00-$34.00/hour plus OT
Benefits: Excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401 (K), PTO, and more, are available after the temporary period is successfully completed!
CNC Operator Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts and components according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Inspect finish products to ensure the meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on machines as they arise
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure production goals are met
- Other duties as assigned
CNC Operator Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in operating CNC machines
- Strong knowledge of CAD software
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to successfully work in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to meet production goals
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawing and blueprints
CNC Operator Education and Experience:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or CNC technical diploma is preferred
- 2 years of experience operating CNC machines is required
- Experience with Fanuc controls and programming is required
