Duties
- Oversee the fabrication department and manage a team of fabricators
- Plan and prioritize fabrication projects to meet deadlines and customer requirements
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Operate power tools and machinery to fabricate metal components
- Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and other fabrication tasks as needed
- Assemble and rig fabricated components for installation
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fabrication or a related field
- Strong knowledge of ductwork fabrication techniques and processes
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Experience operating power tools, machinery, and equipment used in fabrication
- Welding certification is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with plasma cutting machines is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of assembly techniques

The Fabrication Manager must be able to effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
