We seek a skilled and experienced Body Shop Technician to join our team at Joe Bullard Collision. As a Body Shop Technician, you will play a crucial role in repairing and restoring vehicles, ensuring they meet high-quality standards.

Job Description:

• Vehicle Repair: Perform various repairs on damaged vehicles, including but not limited to frame repairs, panel replacements, and welding.
• Diagnostic Skills: Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify and assess damages accurately, ensuring a thorough understanding of the repair requirements.
• Collision Repair: Address and repair collision damages, aligning with industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Paint Preparation: Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces, ensuring a smooth and clean foundation for the paint application.
• Color Matching: Assist in color matching processes to ensure that the paint used matches the vehicle's original color or a specified color code.
• Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of completed repairs to guarantee the highest quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians, preppers, and painters to ensure a seamless workflow and timely completion of projects.
• Adherence to Safety Guidelines: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Documentation: Record and document all repairs performed, including parts used and any special instructions.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Body Shop Technician.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, and drug screening.
• Proficient in using various tools and equipment related to auto body repair.
• Ability to interpret and follow repair manuals and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
