Joe Bullard Collision is seeking an experienced Automotive Prepper to join our team. In this role, you will prepare vehicles for painting in our auto body shop, ensuring high-quality results.

Job Description:

Surface Preparation: Prepare vehicle surfaces through sanding, masking, and priming to achieve a smooth and clean foundation for painting.

Sanding and Filling: Utilize sandpaper and other tools to smooth out imperfections, applying filler as needed to address dents, scratches, or other damages.

Masking: Skillfully mask off areas that should not be painted, demonstrating attention to detail to avoid overspray.

Priming: Apply the appropriate primer to ensure proper adhesion of the paint and enhance the overall finish.

Color Matching: Assist in color matching processes to achieve the desired paint color, matching the vehicle's original or specified color code.

Quality Control: Inspect prepared surfaces for imperfections, ensuring that vehicles meet quality standards for the painting process.

Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep the work area clean and well-maintained, including cleaning tools and equipment used in the prepping process.

Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including painters and technicians, to ensure a seamless workflow.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in auto body prepping is a plus.

- Ability to pass a drug screening, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, and background check.

- Valid Drivers License
