DG/Trailer Mechanic Job Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our warehouse/depot team as a DG/Trailer Mechanic. This position is crucial to the daily operations of our facility, involving a variety of tasks to support the smooth functioning of the warehouse. If you able to perform basic DG maintenance and maintain trailer chassis by installing and repairing brakes, suspension parts, pneumatic and hy-draulic system parts. DG/Trailer Mechanic Responsibilities

• DG maintenance to include oil changes, tire work, exhaust and periodic maintenance procedures
• Responsible for repair of frames and metal truck trailers • Modify and reconstruct chassis
• Installing electric wiring for dome lights and tailgates
• Fitting and assembling components
• Use hand tools and portable power tools
• Spray, brush primer and protective coating on metal/wood

DG/Trailer Mechanic Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified DG mechanic
• CDL preferred
• Prior experience in a warehouse or labor-intensive role is a plus
• Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude towards tasks
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required
• Basic understanding of safety protocols and guidelines
• Team-oriented with good communication skills
• Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment is advantageous
