Cordia Resources is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accountant for our non-profit client. If you are passionate about financial stewardship and have a background in non-profit accounting, we encourage you to apply. As a Senior Accountant you will play a critical role in managing our financial operations and ensuring the integrity of our financial data. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in non-profit organizations and be familiar with accounting software such as NetSuite.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Monitor and report on budget variances.
- Prepare and file necessary tax returns and regulatory reports.
- Collaborate with auditors during the annual audit process.
- Assist in grant accounting and reporting.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on non-profit accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software, preferably NetSuite.
- Strong understanding of non-profit financial reporting and compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
