Position Description:

Accounts Payable Manager will oversee the day-to-day transactional accounting operations of the organization and ensure the accuracy of data and the effectiveness and efficiency of accounting procedures and financial controls. In this position, you will primarily, manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, supervise the Accounts Payable staff and ensure all accounting policies of the organization are followed.

Working Conditions:

• Work in a corporate office type environment.

• Hybrid Work Arrangement (50% (3 days/wk) on site required at the Arlington office)

Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible for the handling of accounts payable for multiple companies
• Audit of vendor invoices to be submitted to appropriate Project Manager for approval and coding
• Verify invoices for duplication and over billing
• Research previous balances and record payment reference (i.e., check number and date)
• Check accuracy of invoice totals
• Data entry – Input Accounts Payable utilizing NetSuite.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, or above in Accounting

• Thorough understanding of Accounts Payable

• Supervisory experience in a finance/accounting setting
