Immediate opening for full- and part-time servers

At Copperwood Tavern, we aim to give our customers an enjoyable and memorable dining experience. We chose to be a farm-to-table restaurant because it represents the freshest quality available. Not only do we source our ingredients and products locally, we're also locally owned and operated in Virginia right outside of Washington D.C.

Copperwood Tavern offers 20 Virginia draft beers on tap, 30 small-batch whiskeys, and a superb wine selection from many local wineries. Our 30-foot craft bar is also stocked with southern Virginia's white whiskey. Yes, we mean moonshine! Since a woodsy retreat wouldn't be complete without a loyal hunting companion, we encourage you to bring your pup along when enjoying our patio.

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Server who understands that the guest is always the most important person on the team. We expect our Servers to create a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for customers, both in the dining room and in our lounge. The ideal candidate for this position is energetic, has a positive attitude, enjoys interacting with guests and is committed to providing outstanding service.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and make recommendations.
• Take customers' orders and alert the kitchen staff to special requests.
• Work as a team to ensure all guest needs are seen to and tables are turned in a timely manner.
• Answer questions about menu items and drinks.
• Maintain a clean section and keep up with running sidework and end-of-shift sidework as assigned.

* This is a tipped position. Wages will vary based on gratuity! *

Pay: $500.00 - $1,500.00 per week
