Copiers Northwest is Hiring a Warehouse Lead Near Seattle, WA

Wage: $21-$23 per hour DOE

Location: Kennewick

Normal hours: Mon-Fri 7:00 am – 4:00 pm with 1 hour lunch break

Job Summary: 

Copiers Northwest is a leading provider of office equipment, document management solutions, and managed IT services in the Pacific Northwest. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced warehouse lead to join our team in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution center. 

As the Warehouse Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily workflow, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely, accurate fulfillment of orders. You will maintain ongoing communications, working closely with internal teams and other company branches, to ensure quality of service for all warehouse customers.

Key Duties

  • Operate forklift, pallet jack, or other hand trucks
  • Unload inbound trucks and monitor for damage
  • Process and store inbound equipment
  • Manage the workflow of the equipment builds in the Kennewick warehouse
  • Perform quality checks for both inbound and outbound equipment
  • Manage intercompany transfers
  • Perform cycle counts
  • Communicate effectively between all divisions
  • Maintain cleanliness of warehouses, which may include work at satellite locations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 2 years prior experience in a specialist role, preferably with warehouse experience
  • Background in customer service
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to employ critical thinking skills and take initiative to facilitate timely decisions 
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, meet strict deadlines, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced work environment
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office

 Requirements:

  • Must be able to hear auditory alarms
  • Must have reliable transportation, a driver license, and meet minimum insurance requirements (good driving record)
  • Must be able to read and comprehend technical documents
  • Ability to walk, sit and stand for long periods throughout the workday
  • May be required to occasionally work mornings and evenings outside normal business hours
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be punctual and reliable
