COPE Community Services is Hiring an Employment Specialist Near Tucson, AZ

We are looking for a full time Employment Specialist to join the team! Under the direct supervision of the Employment Team Leader, promote the model of vocational services and recovery as a mainstream employment method and assist people with significant disabilities to access real employment opportunities.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, and one year of experience in providing rehabilitation services, employment-related supports, and/or peer support services.
  • Associate’s degree plus two (2) years behavioral health work experience which includes on year of experience in providing rehabilitation services, employment-related supports, and/or peer support services.
  • High School Diploma or GED plus Peer Support Specialist certification plus three (3) years of behavioral health work experience which includes on year of experience in providing rehabilitation services, employment-related supports, and/or peer support services.
  • High School Diploma or GED plus Medical Assistant certification plus three (3) years of behavioral health work experience which includes on year of experience in providing rehabilitation services, employment-related supports, and/or peer support services.
  • High School Diploma or GED plus four (4) years of behavioral health work experience which includes on year of experience in providing rehabilitation services, employment-related supports, and/or peer support services.

Important Notes:
Must be 21 years of age (automobile insurance requirement) and possess a valid AZ driver’s license with a “clean” or “acceptable” driving record.
