Short Description
The Data Analyst is an RN, LVN, ART, or individual with other analytical training with
previous clinical experience and knowledge of ICD-9, CPT/HCPCS and other coding
systems.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to use PC and data systems (e.g., Excel, Access and PowerPoint); demonstrates
expert knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, database and graphics
applications.
Statistical analysis skills.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to present information in a concise and effective manner.
Ability to work as a team player and collaborate effectively with others.
Exhibits a high level of initiative, accuracy and self direction.
Exhibits a high level of self direction, initiative and accuracy.
Must be able to work efficiently when there are competing priorities.
Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing.
THIS POSITION IS BASED IN CAMDEN, NJ working with our Addiction Medicine Facility.
Experience Required
Managing data bases and responsible for analyzing data and generating summary reports.
Experience in using programming, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, database, and graphics applications required (e.g., excel, word, access).
Experience in healthcare setting or familiarity with clinical databases preferred.
Experience with Business Intelligence software (e.g. SAP BI Web Intelligence, etc.) highly
preferred.
Education Requirements
Associate of Science Degree or Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree
in a computer-related field required, this includes computer sciences, biomedical sciences, biostatistics and business/operations management. Applicants currently pursueing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in the above fields with comparable training and experience may also be considered.
License/Certification Requirements
CPHQ desirable.
