Cooks Venture is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join us in our mission to change the world through food! Your day-to-day activities will consist primarily of recruitment, record maintenance, clerical support, and employee relations activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
• Maintaining employee records
• Assisting with benefits administration
• Assisting with the full cycle recruitment process including identifying candidates, performing phone screens, and contacting references
• Maintaining calendars of HR management team
• Assisting with performance management procedures
• Scheduling meetings, interviews, HR events and agendas
• Coordinating training for team members
• Performing orientations and updating records of new staff
• Producing and submitting reports on general HR activity
• Completing termination paperwork and exit interviews
• Ensuring facility compliance regarding all HR related matters
• Protecting organization's value by keeping information confidential
• Other projects, tasks, and errands as assigned by leadership

Physical Activities:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may bend, stoop and be on feet for extended periods of time; will move between hot and wet environment to cold and wet environment

Qualifications:

• 2 years’ experience in Human Resources
• Comfortable using email, smartphone apps, Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, wireless printers, tablets, and other technologies
• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
• Eye for detail and insistence on accuracy
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Commitment to getting the most important work done first, and meet deadlines
• Eager to speak up, ask questions, and take on more responsibility

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
