Convoy of Hope is Hiring a Global Program Impact Director Near Springfield, MO

Ministry Function

The Global Program Impact Director supports the ministry of Convoy of Hope by assisting Global Program Partner Relations and Marcom in identifying impact stories from around the world. Utilizes impact stories to better educate Convoy of Hope donors and partners on impact of Global Program work around the world and to obtain further funding for Convoy of Hope initiatives.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Works closely with Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) team, Regional Leaders, Specialists and other departments within Global Program to mine innovative storylines that help grow the narrative of community impact with specific focus on integrated program storytelling and Asset Based Community Development (ABCD).
  2. Works closely with and submits appropriate tickets to Marketing & Communications for the increased use of innovative storylines.
  3. Works on the acquisition of selected federal grant opportunities by acting as project lead and facilitation of grant writers, program specialists, field staff, MEL, etc.
  4. Supports Network and Development in the creation of funding proposals through project management, development of templates, etc.
  5. Supports Senior Director in providing leadership to the Partner Relations team through meeting facilitation, team support, etc.
  6. Collaborates with MEL team, Regional Leaders and other departments within Global Program to develop new and innovative ways for data collection and impact story management.
  7. Works with Marketing and Communications on creative concepts to communicate initiatives and priorities both within Global Program (GP) and outside of GP and COH.
  8. Assists in hosting donor and VIP trips as needed.
  9. Fulfills all other duties as assigned.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, communications or a relevant field is required
  2. 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, business management or other relevant experience required.
  3. International work experience strongly preferred.
  4. Project management experience strongly preferred.
  5. Demonstrates significant cultural understanding and awareness to handle sensitive issues and maintain vital relationships.
  6. Displays problem-solving skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and the ability to maintain tact in difficult situations.
  7. Possesses experience in creating professional presentations, graphs, and charts via Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  8. Exhibits strong attention to detail.
  9. Demonstrates the ability to problem-solve and interpret data in a way that addresses programmatic realities and culturally sensitive scenarios.
  10. Displays motivation to hit milestones and meet
  11. Exhibits organizational skills, is detailed oriented, and can follow through.
  12. Possesses exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, presentation, and computer skills.
  13. Ability and willingness to travel internationally on an infrequent basis.
  14. Positively represents the ministry of Convoy of Hope, including its mission statement and core values, to all outside constituencies.
  15. Serves as an advocate for the ministry, striving to nurture, broaden, and develop financial and other resource opportunities to support and expand organizational and program ministry.
  16. As a Christian organization, Convoy of Hope believes it is critical that team members embrace the organization's religious purposes for which it exists, and not only agree with its Statement of Faith but demonstrate it in their lives on an ongoing basis.
