We are looking for … a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Finance with a strong focus on controller functions to join a dynamic B2B SaaS company.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial reporting, audit, tax, AP/AR, general ledger, risk management, budgeting, and FP&A activities. The VP of Finance will also work directly with the CFO on treasury management and corporate finance functions.This leadership role requires exceptional attention to detail, in-depth knowledge of financial regulations, and the ability to drive financial efficiency and accuracy throughout the organization. This is a critical position within the company, requiring someone with proven expertise in heavy-duty reporting and controller functions.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and related schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data and insights for reporting purposes.
• Develop and implement robust financial reporting processes and systems to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Oversee the annual external audit process and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including the preparation and filing of tax returns.
• Supervise AP/AR functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and perform monthly and year-end closing activities.
• Lead the FP&A function, developing budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
• Identify and analyze financial risks, establish risk management policies and procedures, and provide guidance to mitigate risks.
• Work with the CFO to monitor cash flow, banking relationships, and investment strategies to optimize treasury management.
• Work with the CFO to evaluate capital allocation strategies, assess investment opportunities, and support corporate finance initiatives.
• Build out a high-performing team, providing mentorship and guidance.
• Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and market trends.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. CPA, CMA designation a plus.
• Proven experience as a Controller, (Senior) Director of Finance, VP of Finance, or similar role ideally for a scaling B2B SaaS company.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards (GAAP).
• Strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Demonstrated experience overseeing audit processes and managing relationships with external auditors.
• Proficiency in using financial software systems and various software systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and managerial abilities, with the capacity to mentor and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management.
• Proven track record of driving process improvements, implementing best practices, and enhancing financial controls.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
• Solid understanding of treasury management, cash flow forecasting, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Some experience or familiarity with corporate finance principles, including investment analysis and capital structure optimization.
• This role requires in office presence 3-4 times a week over at the company's headquarters.
