Contract Lumber is Hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist needed in the Great State of Ohio Near Columbus, OH

Accounts Payable Specialist

Pay: $28-30/hr. (based on experience)

Location: Pataskala, Ohio.

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for providing financial and administrative support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Receive and verify invoices for payment. This includes sub-contractor and overhead invoices.
  • Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and send lien waivers.
  • Maintain listing of sub-contractors' insurance policies
  • Assist in monthly closings.
  • Maintain updated vendor files.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial files.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Strong organizational skills; detailed and accurate
  • Leadership, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Willingness to take on responsibilities, challenges and additional duties as required.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting, accounting software; BisTrack systems; Microsoft Office, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Outlook
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training/
  • Hardworking, Responsible, Motivated Individual

Post offer drug test and background check required.
