Overview:
We are searching for a Sr. Java Developer to support our client, a large financial regulator, to be a part of high performing team supporting the development and enhancements of applications that ensure fair trading on the stock market.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in and lead design reviews and solutioning using latest technology
- Write high quality code that meets latest standards
- Lead other team members in peer review of code and identify re-usable frameworks
- Design, develop, and implement web-based Java applications to support business requirements.
- Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
- Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
- Leverage industry Java best practices to design, test, implement and support a multi-tier origination Java solution
- Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related discipline
- 10 years of Java development experience
- 8 years working with SpringBoot framework
- Spring Security
- Spring JPA
- AWS Cloud integrations:
- EC2, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway
- 10 years of Advanced SQL with Postgres
- Python knowledge a plus
