Job Descriptions:

  • Provide Acquisition Support Services to assist OIA in procuring and managing various Information Technology (IT) and professional services contracts.
  • Support OIA in performing pre- and post-award acquisition support on multiple acquisitions.
  • Support client requirements in the pre-award requirements development process.
  • Perform pre-award acquisition support services.
  • Assist in developing pre-award technical documentation.
  • Assist the project team by documenting requirements, taking notes, and keeping action items.
  • Provide acquisition input, as appropriate, to include acquisition strategy, problem resolution, suggest contract alternatives, and options.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of milestone schedules.
  • Meet with client technical representatives to obtain information about current environments or infrastructure.
  • Gather and research information about agency mission, objectives, and programs to assist the project team in developing client requirements.
  • Assist the OIA with translating client technical requirements into a solicitation.
  • Translate in writing standard contract guidelines and client requirements.
  • Identify and assist with technical risks and provide mitigation strategies concerning acquisitions and client requirements.
  • Participate in dialogue about questions, comments, and issues regarding the solicitation with OIA CO.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain pre-award and post-award contractual documentation and files.
  • Provide detailed analyses of all elements of price in offeror proposals/quotes.
  • Ensure contract documentation/files are complete and filed in accordance with OIA standard procedures.
  • Provide acquisition input, as appropriate, to include acquisition strategy, problem resolution, suggest contract alternatives, and options.
  • Assist in preparing debriefing materials.
  • Distribute contractual documents, if applicable.
  • Provide contractual correspondence support to the OIA CO.
  • Aid OIA in the closeout of Task Orders, contracts, and resolving Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs) in accordance with established OIA close-out procedures.
  • Perform high-level close-out activities.
  • Assist OIA with ensuring contract quality across the enterprise.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Federal Government contracting.
  • FAC-C/DAIWA Level II certification or higher OR equivalent experience
  • Must be able to receive a successful Moderate Background Investigation with written Inquiries (MBI) determination.
  • Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • General knowledge of IT and professional services.
  • Understand acquisition alternatives (e.g., GSA Schedules, GWACs/MACs, and Full & Open Competition).
  • Experience using Smartsheet preferred.

Work Schedule:

Core business hours generally fall between 7:00 AM through 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday
