Description

The Conrad Company, a fast-growing, family-owned business located in York, PA, is seeking a part -time Industrial Repair Technician to join our PennAir Team! 

PennAir is a leading supplier of automation, pneumatic, and hydraulic products, and solutions. 

Responsibilities:

· Evaluate industrial pumps, cylinders and valves through disassembly and inspection, and provide details of parts needed to repair.

· Source parts, locate vendors for specific products, and provide pricing.

· Maintain relationships with current customers and form relationships with potential/new customers.

· Assist Field Technicians onsite to troubleshoot and repair components.

· Ability to read and follow written technical service procedures to determine unit performance.

· Understand and maintain all safe work practices and rules.

· Perform assigned work while maintaining efficiency and quality standards.

· Work with Senior Technician to inspect and validate repair parts.

· This role provides comprehensive on-the-job training to help you succeed.

Requirements

· Mechanical background desired

· Excellent customer service skills to interact with internal teams and external vendors.

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

· Frequent bending, crouching, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and overhead reaching.

· Willingness to learn.
