Position Summary

The Recruiter - Temporary function at Connors Group is centered on learning what are our people’s needs are and addressing them. We are looking for a qualified and resourceful Recruiter to support our Human Resources Manager ensuring efficient operations in all areas of Recruiting. Duties and responsibilities

  • Conducts all phases of the recruiting process
  • Assists in identifying efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available tole, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
  • Collaborates with managers to understand skills and competencies required for open positions
  • Responsible for job postings and announcement of the job on social media sites
  • Screens resumes and send to hiring manager for approval
  • Schedules interviews and sends interview guides to interviewers
  • Ability to create bench strength by identifying and staying in contact with potential past and future candidates
  • Coordinates and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions
  • Schedules new hire orientation and onboarding plan and internal meetings for new hire
  • Reviews documentation and prepares reports relating to performance management to ensure internal deadlines are met
  • Coordinates employee engagement surveys and provides updates on timelines, actionable insights to improve the employee experience
  • Assists with the benefits renewal, open enrollment and make changes in the carrier benefit portals and answer employee benefit questions
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs
  • Develops training materials related to HR programs
  • Facilitates employee training related to HR programs, initiatives, and policies
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from candidates, employees, managers, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and procedures to maintain compliance
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, and regulatory changes
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of Human Resources experience in a Generalist role with an emphasis on recruiting activities
  • Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and ask for help when needed
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn HRIS and talent management systems

Working conditions

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift and carry 10 – 15 pounds at times
