Corporate Accountant
Position: 6 Months
Location: Belgrade, MT – 100% on site
As an accountant you will be responsible for assisting the accounting team with a variety of day-to-day financial transactions which include credit card reconciliations, accounts payable, expense allocation, receipt review, data entry, internal reporting, and general administrative tasks. This position ensures company policies and procedures are being adhered to as they pertain to all aspects of the accounting function.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Credit Card Reconciliations – Support the accounting team with high volume card account reconciliations. Requires accuracy and strategic thinking skills across multiple software programs to meet critical month end deadlines.
- Receipt Tracking & Management – Continuously identify missing transactions needed for credit card account reconciliations. Communicate with employees regarding expense
documentation and receipts. Upload and match receipts in expense tracking software.
- Expense Allocation & Receipt Review
- Research receipt source documentation, focusing on granular details and match transactions with receipts in accounting software programs.
- Accounts Payable – Assist with accounts payable tasks and vendor communication as
needed.
- Data Exports into QuickBooks Desktop - Support the accounting department with accurate data exports between software platforms and QuickBooks via Transaction Pro. Requires critical thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Financial Data Entries & Reporting – Run revenue and transaction reports across various software programs and complete financial data entries in QuickBooks.
- Month End Closing Tasks – Perform accounting department procedures in compliance with financial policies and controls. Complete various tasks as needed to meet month end closing deadlines. Apply comprehensive understanding of accounting principles with attention to detail in every task.
- Performs other tasks and duties as required.
BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 3 years of relevant finance or accounting work experience
- At least 1 year of experience with QuickBooks Desktop – Transaction Pro experience
preferred.
- Resourceful, action and results orientated with the ability to get things done and overcome obstacles.
- Impeccable integrity and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to organize, prioritize to meet established deadlines.
- Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
