Summary/Objective
The Direct Support Professional will be responsible for all day-to-day functions of the Community Employment Gardner Pie location. Also, this position is responsible for enforcing and maintaining all policies, procedures, and maintenance and security requirements. Further, this position will promptly, professionally, and courteously assist individuals with developmental disabilities to meet internal and external customer needs.
Major Work Duties
Essential Job Functions

• Ability to lift, bend, twist, and move up to 20 lbs.
• Erect and seal carton.
• Close and seal cartons.
• Inspect parts.
• Label cartons.
• Return scrap to scrap bins.
• Accurately match numbers & letters.
• Packing of bulk product.
• General housekeeping.
• Follow all OSHA and safety standards.
• Follow all GMP standards.
• Effectively communicate problems and issues with management.

Qualifications

• Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
• Must follow all OSHA safety regulations.
• Must possess a positive customer service attitude and image.
• Must be willing to work as a team member.
• Follow instructions.
• Handle change in routines.
• Display appropriate socialization at all times.
• Must have no more than 4 points on your driver's license as you will be tansporting clients to and from the worksite.

Work Environment

• Must be able to perform all duties in cool, mild and warm weather.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to work with your hands, walk, stoop, kneel, bend and reach with hands and arms and stand thoughtout the day.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM (approximate hours)
