Job Summary:
Our operating unit provides aerial, underground, substructure, ISP, wireless, telecom engineering, and splicing services and we are looking for an Aerial Lineman to join our team. The Office Administrator will perform various administrative and clerical tasks. They will undertake a variety of activities in the office ranging from billing jobs to basic record keeping. They will need to have the ability to work diligently to help maintain smooth operations. They must be reliable and hardworking with great communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
  • Sort and distributing incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail
  • Answer and transfer telephone calls or take messages
  • Type, format, or edit routine memos or other reports
  • Copy, file, and update paper and electronic documents
  • Collect information and perform data entry
  • Prepare and process bills and other office documents
  • Undertake basic bookkeeping tasks and issue invoices, statements, etc.
  • Assist in office management and organization procedures
  • Monitor stocks of office supplies (paper clips, stationery etc.) and report when there are shortages
  • Assist in making travel arrangements and booking venues for conferences and events
  • Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems and personal computers
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred Proven experience as an administrative assistant
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); Working knowledge of relevant software (e.g. adobe)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Background in construction billing is a plus
  • A positive can-do attitude and openness to trying things new ways

Physical Demands and Working Environment:
  • The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to walk.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision and Distance vision.
