X-ray Technician for a busy Orthopedic practice in Boca Raton

• We are in need of a skilled and organized X-ray technician to join our team. Responsibilities include taking clear x-ray images of the patients. Assist the physicians during injections and procedures. Additional duties may be assigned.
• Hours Monday through Thursday 11:00 am to close( between6pm-7pm) Friday's 9am- 12 noon

Duties and Responsibilities:

• taking x-rays
• the use of c-arm in procedures
• interacting with the patients, determining the location of pain.
• Conserving compliance with governmental protocols and ensuring the safety of patients and employees by using protective instruments and exercising safety measures
• Stabilizing the patients and ensuring preparedness by educating them about the procedure, appropriately positioning them correctly, and covering them with protective clothing if needed.
• Assisting the surgeons in injections and kyphoplasty procedures
• Prepare procedures rooms and ensure each room is fully stock with supplies
• Assist in the Clinical area when needed

Qualifications

• An X-ray license is required
• 2-3 years of medical office experience
• Medical Terminology knowledge is required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 26 – 30 per week
