Vice President of Marketing - The Role

We are searching for an experienced and ambitious Vice President of Marketing focusing on E-Commerce (B2C preferred) experience. In this role, you will develop and lead comprehensive merchandising, marketing, and Ecommerce strategies in alignment with the company’s overarching goals and objectives. You will oversee the marketing/e-commerce teams, ensuring efficient resource allocation, streamlined processes, and high-quality service delivery. You will lead cross-functional collaboration to align marketing and merchandising with other business functions and strategic goals as well as establish and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

· Develop and implement eCommerce strategies aligned with business goals

· Manage/lead the eCommerce team, including hiring, performance management, and releases

· Collaborate on digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, email, social media)

· Monitor eCommerce metrics and provide actionable insight

· Drive online sales growth through promotions and pricing strategies

· Oversee the creation of marketing and merchandising campaigns, both online and offline, to drive brand awareness and customer engagement

· Utilize market research and data analytics to identify customer insights and trends for strategic decision-making

· Foster a culture of creativity, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the marketing/eCommerce teams

· Develop and present regular reports on all merchandising and marketing performance, strategy updates, and future plans to other senior leadership

· Collaborate closely with senior leadership to translate overall business strategies into effective marketing and operational plans

About You

· Highly organized and skilled at building and managing effective teams.

· Highly experienced in eCommerce, marketing, and merchandising with knowledge in B2C specifically.

· Have previously been responsible for leading and monitoring a company’s entire online presence such as website and social media platforms.

· Someone who takes initiative and has had proven success executing multiple campaigns successfully.

· Collaborative in nature to build and maintain effective relationships both internally and externally.

· Previously experienced in utilizing ecommerce shopping cart systems and email marketing software.

· Highly adept in managing all marketing functions to support the organization’s continued growth.

· Have helped improve and refine current hiring, onboarding, and employee training processes to help attract and retain top talent.
