About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Fleet Operations to play a pivotal role as a business leader within the power delivery segment. This transformative position requires the VP to partner with various teams to refine, plan, and execute fleet optimization initiatives, as well as to strengthen the regional operating model. The successful candidate will be responsible for the evaluation and management of fleet investments, maintenance, risk and regulatory compliance, and disposal. They must drive the vision and purpose of the organization, engage and motivate the team, and identify best practices to enhance policies, procedures, and internal controls. Additionally, the VP will lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the fleet, and evaluate the structure and talent to ensure alignment with the company's strategy and priorities.Applicants for this role at the company should hold a BS in operations management or a related field, with industry-specific certifications preferred. A minimum of 15 years of experience in energy infrastructure construction with a focus on fleet management and purchasing/procurement is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong business acumen, hands-on experience with ERP systems, and a proven track record of building and leading effective teams. Key competencies include the ability to drive vision and purpose, collaborate, instill trust, and manage ambiguity. The role demands a leader who is action-oriented, results-driven, and can make good decisions in a timely manner to keep the organization moving forward.
