About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Center for Technology and Society, dedicated to leading the organization's efforts in combating online antisemitism and hate. The successful candidate will direct a prominent center for research, thought leadership, and advocacy in the digital space, with a focus on refining and executing strategies to address these issues across a wide range of online platforms, including social media, gaming, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence. This role involves developing research priorities, engaging with technology industry leaders, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to design and support tech policy advocacy goals. The Vice President will also be responsible for media communication, educating lawmakers, and nurturing strong partnerships with industry, academia, civil society, and government.Applicants must have a deep understanding of legal and policy issues related to online hate, as well as knowledge of the current and emerging tech landscape. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record of setting ambitious goals, inspiring teams, and delivering results in high-pressure situations. Strong strategic planning, change management, and interpersonal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to build and oversee teams in a distributed organization. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, with a preference for candidates who have worked on technology or related issues and have experience leading and developing teams.
