**Job Description:**

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Budtender to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing a top-notch customer experience, educating customers about various cannabis products, and ensuring compliance with all state and local regulations.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Greet all customers warmly and ascertain their purpose of visit or needs.

2. Provide customers with information about different types of cannabis products, uses, effects, and methods of consumption.

3. Handle cash transactions with customers using point-of-sale (POS) systems and ensure all prices and quantities are accurate.

4. Adhere strictly to compliance with state and local laws and regulations.

5. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

6. Check identification to verify legal age requirements for purchases.

7. Handle customer complaints in a calm and professional manner.

**Qualifications:**

1. Must be at least 21 years of age.

2. High School diploma or equivalent.

3. Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.

4. Knowledge of different cannabis products and the cannabis industry.

5. Excellent customer service skills.

6. Must be able to obtain and retain a state-issued Marijuana Worker Permit (CCD) badge.

7. Ability to pass a background check.

**Skills:**

1. Exceptional communication skills.

2. Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and compliance.

3. Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.

4. Able to stand or sit for extended periods of time.

5. Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

**Physical Requirements:**

1. Able to lift, carry and balance up to 30 pounds, may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching.

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 42 per week
