```Job Summary```
Our office is currently seeking a skilled Surgical Assistant to join our team. As a Surgical Assistant, you will play a critical role in assisting our surgeons during office based procedures. This position requires good technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast- paced environment.

```Responsibilities `
- Chair side assisting to include preparing operatories, ensuring all necessary equipment, and supplies, are available, and passing instruments

-Monitor patients during surgery and provide appropriate care and support.
- Collect and document patient data, including patient vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient patient care

-Maintain an inventory of surgical supplies

• -Other duties as assigned.

```Experience```
- Previous experience and current certification as a Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technician preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology and basic life support (BLS) certification required
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and equipment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
