About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Director for Program Strategy to lead a team responsible for designing and implementing program strategies that align with the company's mission of promoting equality and opportunity for all. The successful candidate will be a seasoned leader with a proven track record in the non-profit, private sector, academia, government, philanthropy, or policy, and at least 5 years of experience specifically in philanthropy. This role involves managing a team of Strategy Directors, who in turn lead small teams, and oversee the performance of all program strategies. The Senior Director will be a key member of the Program Leadership team, shaping the vision and operating model of the company's programmatic work. Responsibilities include people management, coaching, strategic advising, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and equity. The ideal candidate will have expertise in programmatic and philanthropic strategy development, grantmaking, and a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices.Applicants for the Senior Director, Program Strategy position at the company should possess expert people management skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to lead multiple complex teams with diverse priorities. The role requires an analytical thinker with the ability to distill complex information, be objective, and bring a data-backed point of view.
