About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel, Consumer Relations, to join their legal team and play a pivotal role in ensuring that the company's interactions with consumers are legally compliant and align with best practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal guidance on a wide range of consumer regulatory matters, overseeing all contracts, agreements, and documents related to customers and consumers, and supporting the compliance department in defining policies that impact consumers. Additionally, the role involves staying current with changes in consumer law, resolving consumer complaints, and delivering legal training to educate employees on consumer regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, be licensed in at least one state, and have a minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience, with a preference for those with a background in residential solar, renewables, or energy matters.Applicants for the Senior Counsel, Consumer Relations position at the company should possess strong analytical, drafting, negotiating, and communication skills, and be able to work with minimal supervision. The role requires a self-starter with sound business judgment, the ability to simplify complex issues, and a high level of personal integrity and professional judgment.
