We are seeking two Registered Nurse to join our team! You will be responsible for providing safe, direct care utilizing the nursing process in our busy Endoscopy Center. You will independently apply the nursing process through the evaluation, documentation, assessment, and implementation of patient care. Great intro job for new graduates.

Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care to patients as defined in our Policy and Procedure Manual.
• Anticipate patient and physician needs based on their procedure.
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
• Educate patients about treatment and procedures and appropriate health maintenance.
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation.
• Provides for the safety, cleanliness and comfort of the patient; initiate emergency procedures as needed within the scope of practice and policy.
• Identifies abnormal diagnostic data and clinical changes in patient's condition.
• Assists team members and supervisors freely as required and appropriately follows chain of command.
• Accepts and completes daily nursing assignments in a positive manner (stocks supplies, checks equipment and narcotics). Notifies appropriate personnel when equipment is not working.

Qualifications:

• Current California R.N. license. Current BLS and ACLS required.
• Endoscopy – G.I. experience a strong plus.
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment helpful.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and team members.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills and have self-directed initiative to help where needed.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in Spanish or Vietnamese is required!

Pay: $81,120.00 - $92,000.00 per year
