A Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center located in Rockland County, NY is currently hiring experienced Registered Nurses (RN).
Part-time or PRN Shifts Available (must work every other weekend)
- 3pm-11pm
- 11pm - 7am
- 7pm - 7am (this shift is for Vent Unit, must have prior Vent experience)
Responsibilities of the RN:
- Record a patient’s medical history accurately
- Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.
- Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications, etc.
- Monitor patients’ condition, including fluid intake and output, and compose patient charts
- Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas, etc., clean and dress wounds, and assist with other basic medical care tasks
- Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions
Requirements of the RN:
- Proven experience as RN in a skilled nursing setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
- Valid RN License for the State of New York
- Must be vaccinated against Covid
COMPETITIVE RATES UP TO $55 p/hr!
