Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Manager to oversee our portfolio of properties in Lubbock, TX. As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall success and profitability of multiple properties within your assigned region. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of property management.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple properties within the region
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures
- Provide guidance and support to property managers and staff
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with company standards
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and community organizations
- Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize expenses
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective leasing strategies
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, and other applicable laws
- Handle escalated resident issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate property maintenance activities, including repairs, renovations, and preventative maintenance
- Utilize property management software to track leasing, financials, and resident information
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with at least 2 years in a regional or multi-site management role
- Strong knowledge of office operations, including phone etiquette, filing systems, and administrative processes
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts and leases with vendors and service providers
- Demonstrated sales skills with the ability to effectively market properties and close deals
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions
