Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse to join our team. As a Psychiatric Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to patients with mental health conditions. Your expertise and knowledge will contribute to the overall well-being and recovery of our patients.
Duties:
- Assess and evaluate patients' mental health conditions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans accordingly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Skills:
- Memory care experience
- Knowledge of psychiatric nursing principles and practices
- Ability to provide compassionate care to individuals with mental health conditions
- Proficiency in administering medications and treatments
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license in Oklahoma
- NPI and DEA number
- Elidable Medicaid provider
- Knowledge of anatomy, standards, systems, dermal fillers, pain management is a plus
