Project/Account Manager

Up to $150,000

Our metal fabrication shop, located in Ft Pierce, needs a Project/ Account Manager. They will be tasked with growing our production capacity for existing commercial clients as well as managing various new projects. Must manage communications from estimate approval from customer through the production stages, introduction of project changes, maintain strong partnership between production groups to develop a schedule for key deliverables, track their progress against projected plans, and ensure projected time goals, inventory availability with exceptional finish quality, performance and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer and team communications & inventory logistics.
• Track multiple project milestones including task duration and resource usage.
• Negotiate with Customers and set up accounts as required.
• Track and maintain customer and supplier records.
• Create, manage, and update project scope, task lists and timelines.
• Ensure quality from order through client delivery.
• Lead and conduct product order preparation: Ensure part availability, staff line readiness.
• Manage engineering changes and bill of materials (MBOM).
• Assist with writing technical documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other relevant technical discipline, and 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, sales, or project management.
• Demonstrated Product Development experience.
• Knowledge of CAD is required.
• QuickBooks Proficient.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with all levels of project staff and organization.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced office environment, able to multi-task, meet critical. deadlines with an eye for accuracy and attention to details.
• Proven excellent computer skills and be able to demonstrate proficiency with MS Office products. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
