We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Payroll Clerk. As a leading manufacturer in the snack industry, we work with leading retailers throughout the US to ensure that our products reach the shelves of major grocery stores and supermarkets. We are committed to delivering quality products to our customers at all times. The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for handling all aspects of payroll administration such as data entry, reviewing timesheets, and processing payroll checks. They will work closely with the HR department to ensure that all payroll-related matters are handled efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities
Accurately process payroll on a bi-weekly basis
Maintain employee records and ensure that all necessary information is up to date
Collect, review and maintain accurate timesheets
Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations concerning payroll and employment
Reconcile payroll related accounts and resolve any discrepancies
Responding to employee payroll inquiries and resolving any issues that arise
Maintain confidentiality of all payroll related information
Requirements
Proven experience as a payroll clerk or in a similar role
Knowledge of payroll procedures and rules
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Associate's degree in Accounting or related field.
