Confidential is Hiring an Operations Production Supervisor Near Liberty, MO

Position Summary

The Operations Production Supervisor will report to the Operations Manager and have overall responsibility for manufacturing and/or distribution operations. The candidate will focus his/her efforts on increasing efficiencies and quality throughout the company. He/she must direct a team capable of leveraging the Company’s unique market position to maximize its aggressive, long-term growth objectives. The Operations Production Supervisor will be based at the Company’s Kansas City location (Liberty in Clay county).

Responsibilities

Drive implementation of transformation programs and projects

  • Structure and manage all aspects of key programs and projects (e.g., definition of objectives, scope, plans/scorecards, cross-functional engagement, problem solving, documentation, etc.)
  • Lead teams (direct and indirect reports) to deliver on the different components/ workstreams, including quantitative and qualitative business models.
  • Develop fact and data-based recommendations and drive implementation of recommended solutions.
  • Analyzes key metrics and advises business stakeholders on ways to improve and optimize the services and programs.
  • Able to structure and simplify complicated business issues to drive buy in with varied groups.
  • Ability to manage and maintain timecards and report time off.
  • Ability to work weekends.

  • Ensure all departments are functioning at required capacities to meet on-time delivery and future schedules.
  • Drive 5S throughout facility and establish world-class housekeeping standards
  • Effective safety program and compliance with OSHA requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.

· Minimum of a two-year degree from an accredited college or university.

· Minimum 5 years of experience.

· Experience in developing and leading high performance work teams, implementation of lean manufacturing methods.

· Experience with an ERP system.

· Have a proven track record of leading a team of 15 or more employees.

*Candidate would need to be willing & able to travel to California for at least one month for training- paid by company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
