POSITION SUMMARY
The purpose of your job position is to Asst the BOM wtih billing functions of the facility in an accurate and timely manner while complying with federal, state and local requirements that govern the facility and as directed by the Administrator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
REQUIREMENTS
Education / Licensure
Business Administration preferred; however a combination of education,
experience and training in skilled nursing accounting will be considered
Qualifications / Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting principles for skilled nursing prefered
Proficient and accurate with data entry and 10-key calculator
Proficient usage of Excel
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
Working Conditions
May encounter frequent interruptions
May be involved with residents, family and government agencies
May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations
May be exposed to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including TB and the AIDS and Hepatitis B viruses
Physical Requirements
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day
Must be able to stand, bend and reach throughout the day
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time working on a computer
Repetitive hand motion
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. on occasion
Ability to read fine print on financial statements and invoices
