Well-Established, multi-physician medical office seeks professional-minded, experienced bilingual medical front desk receptionist for our office located in Central Houston.

Ideal candidates will have 3 year of medical office experience with patient check-in & check-out. Strong in-depth insurance knowledge of insurance plans and excellent customer service skills. Experience in a Vision Care environment is a big plus. Fluency in English and Spanish required.

This is a full-time position, working a Monday-Friday schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet patients/visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Schedule appointments
• Insurance/demographic data entry for new patients and existing patient accounts
• Filing
• General office duties--fax, copy, and email as needed.
• Collect and post patient co-pays and payments.
• Confirm appointments.
• Assist with patient check-out and post daily charges.
• Assist with reconciling of daily accounts.
• Prepare and deliver bank deposits if needed.

Must possess excellent communication and computer skills. Be responsible, reliable, trustworthy, and able to multi-task. A friendly, welcoming personality that makes a positive first impression of the practice.
