About the Role

The Premier research hospital is seeking a Managing Director for Corporate and Foundation Relations to join their dynamic Development Office leadership team. This key role involves securing significant philanthropy from corporate and foundation sources, which constitutes a substantial portion of the hospital's annual fundraising efforts. The successful candidate will oversee the CEO Roundtable series, a trusted source of health care information, and will be responsible for leading a team of 11 professionals dedicated to securing institutional funding across various hospital priorities. The role requires a collaborative and thoughtful leader with extensive experience in managing corporate and foundation giving, including a track record of identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gifts in the mid-six-figure range or more.The Managing Director will work closely with senior foundation staff and trustees to secure groundbreaking gifts and grants that align with the hospital's priorities and advance health care innovation. They will also be tasked with staying current with new trends in philanthropy, advising on compliance issues, and participating in strategic planning. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree, at least 10 years of experience in management and corporate and foundation fundraising, and possess strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Raiser's Edge and videoconferencing platforms is preferred. The role demands a high level of energy, creativity, and a commitment to best practices and operational efficiency.
