This is the perfect time to join our large and growing real estate company as a Maintenance Technician in a luxury tower, conveniently located in Arlington, VA.
Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician:
- Perform repair requests and respond within prescribed guidelines
- Coordinate the completion of repairs and close out work orders in accordance with established procedures
- Complete the turnover of apartments, preventative maintenance and general upkeep of entire complex.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including but not limited to, the operation, maintenance, repair or replacement of the property's plumbing equipment and systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues or hazards
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities using our Property Management Software
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications of Maintenance Technician:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience with plumbing repairs, electrical repairs, HVAC and general maintenance, at least 3 years in a supervisory position, and 1-2 years engineering experience.
- Strong mechanical background in troubleshooting HVAC, electrical and electronic HVAC controls, plumbing leaks, troubleshooting and repairing appliances.
- Manage multiple priorities and demands; analyze situations and identify problems and offer solutions.
- Experience with a property management software and Excel
- Highly motivated, versatile and dedicated
- Ability to work independently, with strong skills in personal motivation
- Excellent skills in customer relationship management capacity to learn in a changing and technological environment.
- Experience with the repairs, maintenance, upkeep and replacement of appliances
- Perform plumbing service, including but not limited to, the operation, maintenance, repair or replacement of the property's plumbing equipment and systems.
- Experience and skills to complete make ready repairs in vacant apartments
- Must have plumbing, electrical, and mechanical background.
- Must have own basic tools
- A Positive Can-Do attitude is a must!
Compensation & Benefits of Maintenance Technician:
Salary will be commensurate to level of experience with a range of $25 - $36 per hour ($50,000 - $75,000 annual salary.)
