We are an electric motor manufacturing plant on the east side of Houston, TX in the 77020 zip (Please verify that you are able to handle your commute here prior to application—Thanks!) This position ensures efficient operation of facilities and equipment, care of all grounds and support equipment, and manages the maintenance staff (currently 2). The responsibilities of this position include:

-Hands-on experience in the following areas:

o Electrical

o Hydraulics

o Fabrication

o Machinery set-up and operation

o Bridge cranes

o General facility maintenance

· Support production equipment to ensure maximum availability

· Recommend equipment modifications and upgrades

· Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs

· Maintain stock of repair parts for shop equipment

· Control maintenance expenses

· Direction of maintenance personnel

· Strong troubleshooting skills

· Able to oversee capital projects

· All other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

· 5 years of Maintenance Supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment

· Strong attention to detail, organized and computer literate

· Good verbal and written communication skills
