POSITION SUMMARY: PrimaryResponsibility includes all aspects related to talent acquisition (job postings/internal/external, schedules interviews, participates in interviews, background checks, schedules drug screenings and pre-employment physicals and new hire orientation.) Extends employment offers after receiving approval. Assists with onboarding activities as needed. Secondary responsibility includes benefit administration to include assisting with benefit enrollment, open enrollment, and conducting benefit/payroll audits and any other duties as assigned. Must be able to keep matters confidential and must lead by example in all areas to include attendance. Must work closely with the HR manager and other members of the HR team (HR assistant and Safety Coordinator). Additional responsibility will be administration of the facility’s ISO program to include document control, internal audits, management review and any other task related to maintaining our ISO 9001:2015 registration.

PRINCIPAL TASKS:

1. Must be able to communicate effectively with managers and supervisors to forecast staffing needs and must have the ability to develop a candidate pipeline/source.

2. Must establish and maintain an open positions system for communicating open positions/candidate updates.

3. Responsible for job posting and selection of candidates based on job requirements.

4. Works closely with department managers/supervisors to schedule interviews.

5. After receiving approval from the HR Manager, prepares and extends job offers, relocation agreements etc.

6. Works closely with candidates as it relates to background checks, pre-employment physicals and drug screens.

7. Responsible for new hire orientation and from time to time assist with onboarding.

8. May work with Recruiters and staffing agencies as needed.

9. Maintains knowledge of our benefit plans, incentives, and policies to address applicant inquiries.

10. Assists with open enrollment, new hire benefit enrollment and inquiries.

11. Responsible for the ISO 9001:2015 program which includes working closely with management and our external auditor in order to maintain certification for the ISO program.

12. Provide reports related to recruitment and benefits as needed.

13. Other duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

High school diploma is required, however a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

3-5 years of Human resources experience including recruiting/benefit administration experience and working knowledge of employment law.

ISO 9001:2015 experience is a plus.

Excellent communication, organizational, customer service, and computer skills are required.

Must take direction well.

Must be able to think strategically and make decisions.
