Confidential is Hiring a Food Services Director Near Lilburn, GA

Our skilled nursing facility , seeks an experienced Dietary Director to lead in the culinary experience for our residents.

As the Dietary Director, you will assume responsibility for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Dietary Department under current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility.

Responsibilities:

-Assure that quality nutritional services are provided daily.

-Directs and supervises all dietary functions and personnel.

-Design and execute a menu.

-It is responsible for food purchase, production, and timely service of meals.

-Maintains cost records and works to meet budget guidelines.

-Monitors monthly expenditures.

-Maintains the inventory of food and non-food items.

-Ensure cleanliness of all Dining and kitchen areas.

-Makes frequent inspections of all work, storage, and serving areas to determine that regulations governing food safety and sanitation are followed.

-Hire, train, and supervise Dietary associates (Aides, Cooks, etc.).

-Schedules work hours and assignments and reviews staff work performance.

-Participate in ongoing personal career and skill development training and opportunities.

Requirements:
- Certified Dietary Manager or 2 years experience as a Food Service Director
- Proven experience in food service management, including kitchen management and supervising staff
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar restaurant management software
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training food service staff
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays
