Job Overview:

A leading firm specializing in project and software management consulting is seeking a skilled Financial Business Systems Analyst with substantial experience in ERP systems. This role focuses on improving and managing financial business systems for clients primarily within the government or public sector.

Responsibilities:

• Lead sessions to capture and document current state business processes related to Financial Services, Contracts, Purchasing, and Payroll, including dependencies, inputs, and outputs.
• Conduct future state redesign sessions to help modernize processes.
• Create comprehensive process flows for Fiscal Services, Purchasing, and Payroll, and coordinate with other departmental analysts to complete end-to-end process flows.
• Facilitate focus groups with department leads and stakeholders to validate designs and requirements.
• Develop and finalize a list of weighted requirements for a vendor ERP RFP.
• Participate in the Vendor RFP process, outlining demos and providing feedback to stakeholders and department leadership.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as an analyst in Finance, working with at least one ERP system.
• Preferred experience in Government or public institutions
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a similar program, or equivalent work experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Financial Services, Budgets, Journals, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Contracts, Purchasing, Security Administration, and Business Process Configuration.
• Understanding of integration design and testing concepts, including middleware, transformation logic, data conversion concepts, and their impacts on business processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Vizio.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to maintain effective partnerships.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven team-management and leadership capabilities.
• Highly adept at documentation management and using project management tools.
• Keen attention to detail and robust time management skills, with a capacity to meet tight deadlines.

Location Requirement:

Ability to commute/relocate reliably to Los Angeles, CA or plan to relocate before starting work. This position is in-office 2 days/week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
