About the Role

The Executive Director of Infrastructure Services is a key leadership role with a focus on managing and ensuring the effectiveness of the technical infrastructure. This includes responsibilities such as setting the strategic direction for the organization's technical infrastructure and security, providing leadership in design and implementation, establishing IT user support processes, and developing a roadmap for new services and capabilities. The role also involves ensuring network uptime, leading in disaster recovery planning, and maintaining the latest security patch levels. The successful candidate will be accountable for the stewardship of the E-Rate program, which provides Federal funds for infrastructure products and services, and will be expected to lead a team, manage a significant budget, and maintain vendor relationships.Candidates for the Executive Director of Infrastructure Services position must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISCO, and Microsoft preferred. A minimum of 8 years' of professional leadership experience in managing multiple infrastructure functions in a large enterprise environment is required, with a strong preference for at least 15 years' of experience. The role demands in-depth knowledge of IT management, a technical background, and the ability to work across all district departments to align priorities with business objectives. Skills in strategic planning, leadership development, and the ability to build collaborative relationships are essential. The ideal candidate will also have a proven track record in disaster recovery, business continuity, and project management, as well as a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
